The .IN Is The Right Domain Name For Your Business Internet Marketing

The .IN the official country code for India can also be registered by anyone in the world specially those in the insurance business, use it as your brand, as your commercial domain or just forward it to your main internet address. For example let’s say your business name is Blue Financial then I would recommend you to register bluefinancial.in or if your business name is Blue Insurance then you could register Blue.in and use it as your internet brand tell each and every customer that now you have your own insurance domain name and start making money on the internet.

If you already have a website you can register your new domain name and just forward it to your old one this means that when customers enter your new domain BLUE.IN it will automatically go to your old domain BLUE.COM or whatever domain you may already have, most registrars offer forwarding services for free when you register a domain name with them, below are some registrars that do offer free forwarding:

1. DomainCarts.com
2. Register.com
3. NetworkSolutions.com

So if you don’t have your .IN domain name what are you waiting for? Why wait get it before someone else gets your company name or your PRODUCT KEYWORD why not register autoinsurance.in? Take advantage of this opportunity and start getting more and more traffic to your website. Remember it has to be an easy to remember domain name something like your business name or how people know you or your business.

Registration price range goes from $6.99 to $34.99 per year depending on the registrar and off course Domain Carts is the less expensive one.

So you now have your .IN domain name, what should you do now? Well it’s easy!

1. Forward your newly register domain name to your old one using your registrars control panel or build a new website for it.
2. Submit your URL to google using his link http://peewe.it/1k
3. Submit your URL to Yahoo http://peewe.it/1l
4. Market your new domain name: print it in all your paper work, banners, business cards and other printed media.
5. Send an email to all your customers letting them know that you now have a new domain name that is easy to remember and that personalized to your business (Remember .IN as Insurance)

Remember that the .IN domain TLD extension is practically new, so most keywords should be available for you to register, so hurry!

Will “TRADITIONAL” News Gathering Be Relevant In The End?

This item was filled under [ Internet Media And Marketing ]

In past articles, I’ve talked about internet marketing, social networking and other internet marketing technologies. But what makes all of this possible? Do you know?

The answer is so simple that I bet you’ve already guessed! Three words: Technology, Technology, Technology. In January, many people were shocked to hear about the 7 point earthquake that hit Haiti, a few weeks later, there was an earthquake in Chile. Later on, a  3.7 hit Mexicali, Mexico. In all areas, many buildings came down, phone lines and cell phones were dead, and hundreds of thousands of people were killed or injured. How did word get out? What was the only communication from the disaster areas? The Internet!

News programs, newspapers, and other media were getting their information from Twitter and Facebook!  In between watching news accounts, it came to me: Are Twitter and Facebook faster than normal news media? What’s happening to normal media? Is it becoming obsolete? What’s the next big thing?

We know we’re on the fast track, but are you in the race or in the stands?

New news accounts from Haiti, Chile, Mexico, and other hot spots have proven that Twitter and Facebook are faster than “conventional” or “traditional” media for getting the word out. And it’s happening right now… at this very moment.

Are you using these technologies to advertise and make more business or are you just letting them pass by while you stay behind? What are you and/or your company doing to take advantage of this super FREEWAY of information?

Enrolling in social media and internet marketing in the corporate world is as important as having a phone line and it’s easy! Think about this: If you have a phone line people / clients call you and you get to sell your products. It’s the same for social media. If you have a profile, people contact you and buy from you. If you don’t, you just don’t exist!

E-mail Marketing 101

This item was filled under [ Internet Media And Marketing ]

Are you talking to your customers on a regular basis? If yes, then you’re on the right track! But if you’re not, you need to start doing so. Many companies are starting to go online and they’re using all resources available out there to stay in touch with their current customers and attract new ones.

One resource big companies are using is email marketing. You would be surprised what a simple monthly newsletter can help you do.  Among the many things you can achieve with email marketing is to build a relationship with your customer and by doing so it will bring your customer close to you, which means that he will trust you and your products.

Starting a newsletter isn’t that hard! It’s only a four-step process.

1. Choose the right email system provider/IT Company or IT Developer/Geek. This is probably the hardest part, while many options exist, there’s a couple I would recommend, the first recommendation would be to develop your own news letter system, interview a couple of IT professionals or companies, get your quotes and choose the right one, based on experience and budged, cost range would be from hundreds to a couple thousand dollars.

My recommendation would be to sign up for an email marketing service with a reliable company that already has an

email system in place and has passed through all the steps to develop such a reliable email system. There’s a couple of email system providers out there, one of which is Domain Market Store. They offer a variety of services; and among those services they offer email marketing services for a low monthly fee, the sign up process it’s pretty easy! Simply go to their website at http://domainmarketstore.com/express-email.htm , select your preferred service plan and follow their checkout instructions. Their price it’s pretty low and it depends on the amount of emails you will be sending per month, they start at $7.99 per 500 emails and so on.

2. Remember to add a sign up form to your website homepage, blog, online ads, social networks, or other social media. This is really important, because you will be encouraging your website visitors or ad viewers to subscribe to your newsletter when they see your subscription form, link or button.

3. Once step two is done, train your staff to ask every customer for their email address and start their subscription to your newsletter. Be sure to sent your news letter the same day each month, as you don’t want to keep your customers waiting! If you don’t, the next time they receive your email they will most likely unsubscribe from your email list because you’re not consistent. You don’t want that! Try to avoid subscribing people that you don’t know or are not related to — in other words, avoid sending spam.

4. Finally, write and send your news letter. All email system providers have an easy to use Word editor where you will be creating your own email for your customers. It’s as easy as typing, checking, and sending. If you’re in insurance, you can write about insurance news and updates, policy changes, financial info, company updates or changes, agency news, etc. If you’re not, you can write whatever you think your customers will be interested in reading.

For example, if you’re into shoes, then write about the new shoes that just came out this summer. new fabrics being used, or how an artist is using the same shoes you’re selling. If it’s related to you and your business, it’s good to write about.

If you need help developing content for your newsletter, or just want someone to proofread and edit your material, the LAAA can help! Just e-mail Don Lukenbill (our Agenda Magazine editor) at wordsmith_works[at]yahoo.com.

Also remember to link your email to your product page (e.g., if you’re writing about shoes, point the link to the description page of that specific pair of shoes). If you’re just writing about something in general, link to your website homepage.

I can guarantee that if you start your newsletter and have a good amount of emails on file, your website traffic will go up and your visitors will start coming in. Eventually they will turn in to sales.

Remember to stay in touch with your customers and build a relationship with all of them. I hope you liked my article and remember comment about this and other articles I have written. Each comment is taken seriously and I try to answer each as soon as possible. If there’s a question you would like to ask, you can reach me on my contact page, I’ll be more than happy to answer your question, maybe even write about it!

Driving FREE Traffic with Search Engine Optimization on Blogs

This item was filled under [ Internet Media And Marketing ]

Unless you just arrived from Pluto (with the appropriate visa, of course) it is not news that the Internet is the big thing now! The question is this: How are you leveraging it to your advantage? Companies are selling online, everybody is doing online marketing, and the world is rapidly shrinking! A recent study showed that one out of every eight couples who married in the U.S. last year met online. So here are some more questions: What are you doing? Are you doing it right? What should you do?

First of all, if you have a website and your traffic is not what you’re expecting, you need to do some serious internet marketing. This doesn’t mean you need to spend large amounts of money on pay per clicks or other types of advertising. I do recommend it and it is really helpful when starting an online business, but there are some “must do” things, like starting a blog on your website.

A blog will help you achieve a number of things:
·         Good content for search engines to crawl
·         More and more search terms and KEYWORDS
·         Bring you or your business closer to your clients/followers
·         Having the right stats program will help you make the right decisions for your market/niche
·         Drive FREE traffic to your website
·         Give you sales leads

Starting a blog is very easy and there are a number of free blog providers out there. Among the ones I would recommend are wordpress.com and blogger.com. Both provide completely free blog services and starting your blog couldn’t be easier – except for the content! Just go to whichever website you like and register for a free account. Input some information, such as your websites address, email, a password, and a little more and you’re set. You can now start publishing information to your blog. Welcome to the blogosphere!

Now here’s the most important tip I can give you: When writing a blog you have to make it keyword rich, but do not repeat your keywords too many times. To avoid being considered as keyword SPAM, you must select your article title very carefully, since this is what search engines read first. Your main keyword should always be in your title. This is critical.

What you should write about is simple. If you’re in insurance, then write about insurance news. Write what you think about the latest insurance law or how to choose your insurance policy. If you’re into a specific insurance niche, write about it. You can pretty much write about anything you feel will be important for your clients to read about. Your material will eventually get “crawled” by search engines and start driving FREE traffic from search engines to your website. Again, all totally for free.

Currently, there are 31 billion searches on Google every month! In 2006, this number was 2.7 billion. The world is flocking to the Internet, and I believe you should be getting some of those searches pointed to your website.

Having the right stats software will also help you think of new things to write about. Google offers a free analytics software you can easily integrate into your blog. This tool will allow you to see where your visitors are coming from, what are they browsing for, which part of your website has the most clicks or visits, approximately how long a visitor stayed on your website, and how many visits you have had, among other very detailed information. With this information, you can decide what to write about next.

For example if you have more visits from Texas compared to California, perhaps you can write about a new insurance product specifically for Texas or new low auto rates for Texas residents. Target information like this is how your blog and website will be found by users searching the web.

Getting sales leads from your blog is also very easy. Post a couple of ads on the sides, top, or within your content for your users to click. These ads should be related to your article content; otherwise the number of clicks won’t amount to many at all. Another way to drive sales leads is to mention your products in your article. If you’re writing about auto insurance, mention that you can provide them with a free no obligation online auto quote. Don’t make it sound like a commercial; in other words don’t try to sell. Frame it as a comment, and sales will come in.

I hope I have planted a “blogging” seed in your mind. It is a fast, free, and easy way to search engine optimize your website. If you liked my article, don’t forget to comment about it.
